Hemp Seed Grain is harvested from the THC free Hemp plant (Cannabis sativa), and then used to in further processing of oils, flours or protein. Hemp Seed Grain is a nutritional super food, offering a sustainable and renewable source of digestible protein (10 essential amino acids), as well as a variety of vitamins and minerals, including Iron, Magnesium and Manganese. Furthermore, its oil component is an excellent source of the Essential Fatty Acids (EFA’s) Linoleic Acid (Omega 6, LA) and Alpha Linolenic Acid (Omega 3, ALA) as well as smaller amounts of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA), and Stearidonic Acid (SDA). Hulled Hemp Seeds are one of nature’s most digestible, natural and complete sources of protein, amino acids and EFA’s. They have many health benefits including building and tissue repair, growth and maintenance of muscle and contributing to normal metabolism. With their pleasant nut-like flavour and creamy texture, Hemp Seed Grain can be used to extract oil, create flour (fibre) or finely milled into a protein. Hemp Seed Grain produced by Midlands are a nutritious product that is gluten free, nut free, no added sugar, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and produced in a GMO/GE free production process.
