Export Logistics and Sales Support Officer

We are currently seeking an Export Logistics & Sales Support Officer based at our main office on West Street in Ashburton.

The main duties of this role are to work with the Export and Logistics Manager to ensure all the necessary export & import documentation requirements are met to ensure all movements happen on time and meet the expectations of our international customers and internal stakeholders.

This includes all of the associated administration and documentation required for exports, ensuring that these are completed fully and efficiently in accordance with agreed timeframes and regulations. The sales support part of the role includes providing administrative support to the Sales and Ag Contracting teams, along with coordinating the quality assurance requirements for the seed business. 


What you need to have to do this role:

  • The ideal candidate must have an eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Reporting to the Export and Logistics Manager you will provide export logistics support to all of the Midlands businesses and products being exported
  • Undertake all export logistics administrative work as and when required
  • Manage transportation costs to ensure efficiency and expense management, whilst also accommodating customer requirements.
  • Keep up to date with legislative compliance ensuring that Midlands meets all national and international regulatory requirements
  • Protect the Midlands brand by ensuring that customer service is of the highest quality
  • Provide administrative support to other parts of the business when required


Previous export logistics administration experience would be helpful however we are committed to finding the right candidate and will provide further ongoing training as required.
